Salvo, North Carolina - OBX
Most of you probably remember the horrendous weather we endured this past winter. I dreamt of soaking up the warm sun on a sandy beach, and apparently Mom had the same idea. This trip down south was booked months ago in the middle of a snow storm.
Our destination: a small beach town called Salvo in the Outer Banks.
We chose a house on the sound side, which gave us much more access for water sports. The beautiful sunsets were obviously an added bonus!
Loading up LC Blue with the kayaks and paddle boards for a trip around the sound became a daily project.

Hi Mom!
Then Captain Amanda took to the high seas!
And no beach trip is complete without s'mores and a bonfire!
Thanks for the fire, Dad!
We warmed our toes and feasted on marshmallows as the sky grew darker.

The perfect way to end the evening!
Sadly, there's no endless summer for me. After a relaxing week with the family, we packed up and headed home to NOVA. Just a few more days at my internship before I head back to Hofstra for my last undergraduate fall semester. Crazy how time flies!
So much love for my family
